Kamal is a board certified family nurse practitioner. Prior to this, Kamal did MS in Biochemistry and PhD in Human Genetics from India. In addition, he did over 5 years of Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis, MO in the field of lung and heart diseases. Later on Kamal decided to use all his research experience in direct patient care and obtained MS in FNP from St. Louis University.
