Description
Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner I worked as a Registered Nurse in the ICU for 17 years. As I continued to learn and care for the complex patient I knew I wanted to further my education and take a more active role in caring for people. I was afforded the opportunity to work in the acute care setting prior to specializing in Nephrology which laid the foundation for me to appropriately and accurately assess, diagnose, and treat patients.
